A bold, joyful statement necklace made entirely by hand from upcycled fabric scraps.
Soft padded fabric beads in turquoise, teal and vibrant pink-orange paisley are gathered into a full cluster at the front, finished with small bronze-tone rings. The fabric-wrapped strand is accented with antique bronze-tone metal beads.
Each fabric bead is wrapped and stitched by hand in my studio in Altafulla, on the Mediterranean coast of Spain. Because every piece is made from reclaimed textiles, no two necklaces are exactly alike — this is the one you see in the photos.
