A bold, joyful statement necklace made entirely by hand in my small studio in Altafulla, on the Mediterranean coast of Spain.
Two layers of soft fabric-covered beads in turquoise, teal and aqua tones, mixed with vibrant paisley prints in pink, orange and blue, hang from an antique bronze-tone chain. The sides are wrapped in hand-dyed blue fabric with bronze accents, so it feels light and comfortable on the neck.
Each bead is wrapped in upcycled fabric scraps, which makes every necklace one of a kind. Small variations in color and pattern are part of its handmade charm.
